Transient electromagnetic method means that a pulse of electromagnetic waves emits and propagates electromagnetic waves to the formation, and the source of the emission is cut off instantaneously. During the interval of the first pulse electromagnetic field, the receiving coil is used to receive the eddy current field formed by the secondary induction. Through signal interpretation and processing, etc., Analyze the signal with the physical properties of the formation, analyze the geological structure and rock formation properties of the unknown area ahead, use this detection technology to solve relevant geological problems, and then achieve the purpose of prediction and forecasting.

 

The basic working method is: set a transmitting coil on the ground or in the air with a certain waveform current, so as to generate an electromagnetic field in its surrounding space, and generate an induced current in the underground conductive rock ore body; after the power is cut off, the induced current will disappear due to heat loss Decays over time. The geoelectric characteristics at different depths can be obtained by measuring the time-varying law of the secondary field in each time period after power failure.
