Deep Water Borehole Well Log Geophysical Well Logging
Geophysical well logging refers to the process of measuring and recording the physical properties of rocks and formations encountered during drilling operations using various tools and techniques. The data obtained from these measurements can provide valuable information about the geology, structure, and properties of the subsurface formations, which can be used to make informed decisions regarding the exploration, development, and production of hydrocarbon resources.
What's precautions for geophysical well logging operation?
a) Before logging, keep the performance index of drilling fluid stable,the well bottom is clean and the well wall is stable through full circulation;
b) When preparing for logging, the drilling fluid circulation shall be stopped, and the logging can be started only after the drilling fluid is stabilized for 24 hours (the well section with serious loss shall be appropriately extended);
* During the logging process, the mud shall be replenished in time according to the drop of the drilling fluid level in the well to maintain the level.
