Geophysical Resistivity Imaging Instrument For Geophysics Exploration
Introduction
This 2D resistivity imaging system takes WDA-1/WDA-1B super digital DC resistivity/IP meter as its mainframe to do control and imaging, completing with intelligent cables and stainless steel electrodes. This system can conduct multi-electrode 2D/3D resistivity imaging and multi-electrode 2D induced polarization imaging.
Electrical resistivity imaging (ERI) is a direct-current (or low-frequency alternating- current) method that can be used to estimate the distribution of electrical resistivity under the assumption of electrical isotropy and scalar quantities in the subsurface.
For 2D imaging survey, to check the grounding resistance before the measurement is necessary, and the difference between grounding resistances should be small.
