Geological Service Terrameter For Subsurface Material Investigation
Geological Terrameter refer to the general term for instruments that measure the difference in electrical properties of rocks and ores in electrical prospecting. Referred to as electrical instruments. It is used to find metal deposits and non-metal deposits, explore groundwater, energy resources, and study geological structures.
The uneven distribution of underground electrical properties means that there are two or more rocks or ores with different electrical conductivity at the same time. Although the apparent resistivity is not the true resistivity of the rock, it is a comprehensive reflection of the underground electrical inhomogeneity. Therefore, its change law can be used to discover and explore underground electrical inhomogeneities, so as to achieve the purpose of prospecting and solving other geological problems.
